I did notice that it doesn't respond to re-pedaling on the release with a normal on/off pedal, though. I don't know if that's just a function of the controller that was used to record them, or whether AK can actually respond to "half-pedaling" I'll have to read up. The most inspiring keyboards Addictive Keys brings the worlds most inspiring and interesting keyboard instruments into the studios of songwriters. EDIT: Incidentally, I noticed the preview clips have partial pedal values in them. Even if there's no pedal up, all sounds decay to inaudibility in a usual amount of time, and eventually go completely silent according to Bitmeter. all the top name ones are 'realistic' sounding because they use samples of real pianos, it just depends which one has the closes sound to what you need for your music i like addictive keys it has 2 pianos and a rhodes. As for the issue reported by the OP, I can't reproduce a problem with or without Zero Controllers enabled and with or without stopping them by the pedal in the AK GUI. Those zero-duraiton note events really shouldn't be there, so I'm not going to hold it against SONAR for behaving strangely as a result, but I'll be reporting it to the Bakers. Hi everyone, registering a Focusrite Scarlett enables you to get one of the following Addictive Keys instruments for free - Studio Grand, Modern Upright, Mark One or Electric Grand. Thank you for bringing this to my attention You are right-program change. Topic starter Novem2:32 am Posted by: getdunne. Reply Quote Pottz (pottz) Eminent Member. MIDI players that don't buffer softsynth output in advance the way SONAR does don't have a problem with those events. Heavyocity (Ascend and Mosaic Keys), Diva, SynthMaster, Alchemy 1.55, Addictive Keys, Unify. I deleted them all, and the clip plays normally. BTW, Ive always had synth keys or semi-weighted keyboards here so YMMV. So far, I have found the Air MiniGrand and Velvet88 to have the best balance, with some slight gain tweaking, for my playing style. After staring at the Event List for a while, I noticed there are a bunch of notes with duration = 0. I have noticed a great variation between soft synths and velocity action - not only on each key but the balance across the keyboard. I was able to reproduce the same thing with Addictive's preview clips in SONAR, but not if I sent them on a round-trip out a physical MIDI port and back which meant it was a MIDI buffering issue of some sort. Okay that last one took a little head-scratching.
